Stockpile reliability is inferred from lot sampling and calendar age, because no individual asset carries its own history. MSS is the package concept for per-asset environmental exposure and custody continuity, from depot to flightline.
The Concept
Munitions move through igloos, trailers, ships, and forward pads, absorbing shocks, vibration profiles, temperature months, and humidity swings that no record captures. When the enterprise needs to know whether a lot is still reliable, it destroys assets to find out.
MSS is designed to log shock, vibration, temperature, and humidity continuously at the pallet, container, and all-up-round level, and to preserve custody continuity across organizational handoffs with tamper-evident record concepts, so surveillance decisions can be informed by measured condition instead of the calendar.
